Dogs make life better

There’s only a few things in life that we as people actually enjoy.

Those things are dogs/cats, sex, food, drugs and drinking. Everyone needs one of these to truly enjoy life. And if you can have more then one in your life, you’re winning.

Recently I adopted a puppy and she’s absolutely the best. Besides the fact I finally have someone who’s happy to see me at the end of the day. She forces me to get up and go out for walks and to throw the ball and be outside. This forced me to expand my social circle to more then just my normal friends and family. She loves to meet and play with other dogs and it’s forcing me to talk to people Iv seen every day but never have a conversation with.

I’m a great conversationalist but I hate small talk with people. I genuinely don’t care in participating in small talk. But now I’m having to make small talk to these people that iv actively avoided for years and some of them are actually pretty cool people.

Perfect example is this owner for this one dog around the corner. He’s an ex Marine. Was injured during the war and when he came back up to New Jersey he bought this house and needed a companion. He found a dog from a shelter that basically suffered the same PTSD symptoms as him. Loud noises, cars, always wary of other humans. Now they go out for daily walks and actively embrace loud noises together and have to deal with it together.

A dog will understand your problems better then most people and they don’t even speak the same language. They don’t care about how much knew you make or what kind of car you drive. They just want to be with you and make your day better.

Dogs are a man’s best friend, and they will always give you unconditional love. People who don’t care for dogs or animals are the real problems in the world.
